Memberships
The Whakatāne Society for Arts & Crafts is a place for makers and making. By becoming a WSAC member, you become part of an active community who are learning and sharing their skills every week. As a member, you will be able to:
- Attend regular meetings for all resident groups (pending space availability)
- Access group-run workshops and masterclasses
- Participate in WSAC-hosted exhibitions
- Access discounted room hire
Annual Membership An annual membership is available for any adult not currently enrolled in full-time study. Standard: $75 Late Registration: $90 Half Year: $70 |
Student Membership A student membership is available for anyone who is currently enrolled in full-time study. Standard: $30 Late Registration: N/A Half Year: N/A |
Family Membership A family membership includes primary caregivers and school-age children at the same address. Standard: $115 Late Registration: $130 Half Year: $95 |
* Standard memberships must be paid within six weeks of the AGM. The deadline for standard memberships in 2023 is 7 August. ** Half-Year memberships apply to anyone joining WSAC after 1 October. *** Membership fees should be deposited into the WASC bank account: Westpac, 030490 0168788 00 |
Club Fees
There are currently three resident groups within the Whakatāne Society of Arts and Crafts with additional club fees. These fees should be paid directly to the group once availability as been confirmed.
Club Fee: Eastbay Quilters Eastbay Quilters require an additional fee to cover amenities. Annual fee: $5 |
Club Fee: Whakatāne Potters The Potters group require an additional term fee to cover incidental costs. Term fee: $25 |
Club Fee: Woodcrafters The Woodcrafters group require an additional fee to cover material costs. Annual fee: $15 |
Club Fee: Embroiderers Guild The Whakatāne Embroiderers Guild require an additional fee to incidental costs. Annual fee: $15 |
